Enjoying a steady growth with the extension of new service groups and the joining of new partners since early 2017, Grant Thornton Turkey is now announced the appointment of 3 new partners.
Deniz Varlık, Mustafa Yalçın and Neşe Kılıç, who worked at various levels of the organization during their more than 10 years of service with Grant Thornton Turkey, have now been promoted from director positions to partnership, as of July 2018. Deniz Varlık and Mustafa Yalçın will continue to serve as Tax Services Partners, whereas Neşe Kılıç will work as Accounting/Outsourcing Services Partner.

Deniz Varlık (Tax Services Partner)
Deniz Varlık graduated from the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences of Anadolu University in 2000. Until 2004, he worked in Nurus Group as Accounting Supervisor. Qualified as a Certified Public Accountant (SMMM) in 2005 and and was the member of Independent Auditors Board of Ankara Chamber of Chartered Accountants in 2006. Mr. Varlık has an extensive experience in audit and taxation of companies operating in production, services and commercial sectors. He was licensed as an independent auditor by Public Oversight Accounting and Auditing Standards Agency in 2014. He has been working in the Tax Department of Grant Thornton Turkey since 2005. Mr. Varlık is married and the father of two.
Mustafa Yalçın (Tax Services Partner)
Mustafa Yalçın was graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Business Administration in 2002 with high honor degree. Between 2002-2007, worked as a Specialist and Assistant Manager in private sector companies in the manufacturing industry. He has been working in Grant Thornton Ankara since 2007. He received Certified Public Accountant licence in 2006. He was licensed as an auditor by the Association of Capital Markets Board in 2009 and licensed by the Public Oversight Agency in 2013. He is widely experienced in R&D/investment incentives, tax incentives in manufacturing, construction, tourism, transportation and service industry.
Neşe Kılıç (Outsource Services Partner)
Neşe Kılıç completed her undergraduate study at the Department of Economics of Middle East Technical University in 1989 and her master’s degree at the Department of Business of the same university in 1992. She began her career as the Organization Leader of the Israel Operations Department of Net Holding in 1991. Ms. Kılıç worked as the Accounting and Finance Manager at Global Dış Ticaret A.Ş. between 1999 and 2004, and as the Financial Affairs Manager at Basic Chemical Solutions Corporation from 2005 to 2012. She has been working at Grant Thornton since 2013.
