INGAS 2017 is completed with intense participation
03 Nov 2017As the sector’s largest convention and trade show in Turkey, the “7th International Natural Gas Congress and Fair (INGAS 2017)” was held on 2-3 November, 2017, at Haliç Convention Center. Hosted by IGDAS, INGAS 2017 was attended by more than 5,000 experts and industry representatives from Turkey and 20 other countries. Organized with concerted efforts by Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Energy Market Regulatory Authority, the Metropolitan Municipality of Istanbul, and many more entities and organizations, INGAS 2017 provided an international platform to discuss all dynamics of the sector, with a view to evaluating the new projections regarding the development of the natural gas market, sustainable use of natural gas, and Turkey’s development into a hub of natural gas trade in the medium to long term.
Grant Thornton International’s Energy Sector Leader and member of ACER’s Appeals Board, Michael Thomadakis (Ph.D.) also attended the event as a participant of the Strategic Panel and presented his views on Turkey’s role in the region.
