After graduating from Konya High School, he studied Business Administration (in English) in Istanbul University. He also made double major in the same university’s Foreign Trade and European Union Department. He started his professional life at the Ministry of Finance by winning the tax inspector exam in 2009. While working as a Tax Inspector at the Ministry of Finance, he gained experience in examining many different sectors. During this period, he also worked on the implementation of the OECD BEPS Action Plan. He gained expertise in tax, financial analysis and tax planning and advisory roles at leading Sworn-in CPAs and audit firms after 6 years of public service experience. He has been working in Grant Thornton Ankara office since 2017.
Fatih GÜVEN, is specialized in tax and financial analysis. He has special expertise and financial experience in many areas mostly in tax inspections, tax disputes, international tax issues, due diligence services, restructuring of companies, transfer pricing and in sectors such as banking, construction, manufacturing industry, energy, mining, tourism, textile and service sectors. He has extensive practical experience on investment incentive practices and R&D legislation. In addition to his knowledge of tax law, he also has special expertise in the fields of Commercial, Corporate, Obligations and Social Security Law. He graduated from Sakarya University Faculty of Law in 2021. He is currently registered to Ankara Bar Association and specializes in Tax and Commercial Law in Ankara. He has many practice and experiences in company structurings abroad, company splits and mergers, financial check-up institutions. He has many articles published in leading tax journals such as “Vergi Dünyası”, “Yaklaşım” and “Lebib Yalkın”. He also took charge in the writing and updating of the commission books that shape the tax world, published within the Association of Tax Inspectors.
