Sinan Aydın graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Law and College of Justice, and Gazi University, Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Commercial Sciences, Department of Business Administration. Between 1981 and 1984 he worked in private sector. In the period 1986-1989, he served as a rapporteur at Revenue Administration under the Ministry of Finance. In 1989, he began to work as an Intern Revenue Controller at the Ministry of Finance. In 1993, he became a Revenue Controller. In the period 1999-2001, he served as the Chief Revenue Controller at the Ministry of Finance. Between 1997 and 2001, he served as Deputy Provincial Treasurer in Ankara and Property Office Director for five years. From 1998 to 2002, he served as TÜRMOB’s training agent attending numerous seminars and conferences in more than 30 provinces as a speaker or trainer. For a total of three terms, covering seven years, Sinan Aydın served in the management of TÜRMOB: one term covering 2006-2008 as a Member of the Disciplinary Board of TÜRMOB, two terms covering 2009-2010 and 2011-2013 as a Member of the Board of Directors of TÜRMOB. For six years spanning from 2007 to 2013, he served as an Auditor in the Board of Directors of ROKETSAN. From 2008 to 2013, he was a Member of the Higher Council of Advertising at the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Since the academic year 2013/2014, he thought Tax Law and Tax Practices at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics. His op-ed pieces and articles have been published in professional journals and publications. Since 2001, he has been serving as a Sworn-in Certified Public Accountant and from 2014 on, as an Auditor. He is fluent in English, and the father of one.
